Andi DeCenzo, MSW, LISW is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who is dedicated to supporting women and teen girls in various years of their life. She provides the teens and adults with whom she supports an opportunity to grow into the person that they want to be. By providing a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environments are able to create space in themselves to problem-solve, skill-build, and heal. She strives to be attentive to the impact of multicultural factors, and she works toward empowering clients to make choices that align with their goals.

Ms. DeCenzo utilizes evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy; all grounded in a person-centered approach. Ms. DeCenzo has a special interest in women’s health issues including perinatal mood disorders and PMDD. She has obtained specailized perinatal mental health training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and is one of the few mental health providers in Central Ohio who has expertise in PMDD. She facilitates The PMDD Program at CWW offering women a space to development management strategies and engage in therapeutic processing with other women with shared PMDD experiences.

Ms. DeCenzo earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Dayton and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining CWW in 2020, she provided crisis clinical support to teens at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Her work at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia included working with adolescents transitioning to adult care. Additionally, Ms. DeCenzo was a founding member of the Transgender Work Group and Gender Clinic. Here she provided training and education to healthcare staff regarding best practices for clinical care of transgender youth.
