Megan Robertson is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) who in addition to working with those experiencing anxiety and depression, works with early, mid, and older adult women and couples manage the challenges life transitions and relationship distress. As a seasoned therapist, Ms. Robertson has been empowering clients to be their best selves for almost 25 years. Ms. Robertson uses a strengths-based approach in applying Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. She is a Level I & II trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy) clinician and  holds advanced training in Dissociative Disorders and Trauma. Ms. Robertson employs Gottman Method approaches when working with couples.

Ms. Robertson earned her Bachelors Degree (BA) at State University of New York (SUNY-Albany) and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University. Ms. Robertson joins CWW with an extensive resume with both diverse and specialized experiences creating an unmatched expertise. As a business owner, she enjoyed a successful private practice where she managed all aspects of the company. She currently employs her clinical experiences in hospitals (adult & pediatric), nonprofit organizations, hospice, and forensic & evaluative services to inform her clinical work to support her clients on their therapeutic journeys.

Ms. Robertson has consulted and presented to numerous private and public organizations, provided training, policy and curriculum development, and supervision. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
