Description of Program:

The PMDD Program at CWW is a comprehensive therapeutic treatment program for those impacted by PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) or PME (Premenstrual Exacerbation). The Program is open to adults only. We are committed to providing a supportive process and journey that supports your investments.

The PMDD Program is an 8-week group therapy program supported by 2 additional components of education and tools development. All materials are provided by CWW to group members.

The group provides women the opportunity to process and validate their experiences with PMDD or PME and receive group therapy support, led by Andi DeCenzo, MSW, LISW, from others with similar experiences. This group is supported by:

  1. Education: delivers information about understanding PMDD & PME diagnoses, risk factors, and treatment options. This will support clients’ knowledge base of PMDD, PME, and paths toward comprehensive treatment.

  2. Tools: provides clients the resources and tools they need to support PMDD & PME management. This supports clients’ feeling organized, equipped, and empowered to implement their own personalized, self-activated tools plan.

  3. Group Therapy: offers women an opportunity to process journey with other women with shared experiences.

The PMDD Program Providers:

The Program, led by expert CWW provider Andi DeCenzo, MSW, LISW, offers clients a first-of-its-kind support for those impacted by PMDD or PME.

Process of Registration:

Once registered for the PMDD Program at CWW, clients will receive a welcome email with further instructions to complete their registration process. This welcome email will include instructions on how to complete necessary documents required for program participation. These documents include a participation and clinical history questionnaire, CWW practice policies, The PMDD Program at CWW policies and guidelines, and CWW privacy policies. Once these documents have been completed, a CWW PMDD provider may contact you to schedule a pre-Program meeting (see below). Please note, ALL registrants must have ALL paperwork completed prior to start of PMDD program. Registrants are not able to attend if paperwork is incomplete.

Pre-Program Meeting:

Your care and goals are our top priority. As such, all clients registered for the PMDD Program may be asked to participate in a pre-Program meeting with a PMDD Program Provider (Jennifer R. Jones, Psy.D. or Andi DeCenzo, MSW, LISW) to ensure that your goals and therapeutic needs align with what The PMDD Program can offer. Additionally, this ensures other group members’ goals and therapeutic needs are also supported. The objective of this pre-Program meeting is to assess for inclusionary and exclusionary criteria. Inclusionary criteria which may include a history of PMDD diagnosis, recommendations by your primary physician (PCP, Ob/Gyn), clear and present PMDD symptom history, and/or clear and present PME symptom history.

If you are not an appropriate fit for the PMDD Program, your care and well-being is still our priority. A referral will be provided to you for alternative care. This referral may be for a supportive resource at CWW (individual therapy) or outside of CWW (individual/group therapy, intensive outpatient services, inpatient support, medical evaluation, etc.). The pre-Program meeting is not a psychiatric diagnostic interview and no diagnoses will be made.

Not all registrants will participate in a pre-Program meeting.

*Due to the structure of The PMDD Program at CWW, program cost is not reimbursable by insurance.

*IMPORTANT: Please note that The PMDD Program only commences when the number of enrolled participants meets the minimum threshold to ensure a quality group program. If a series experiences low enrollment, the start of the session series will be postponed. You will be notified via email if the program is postponed.
