Dr. Stacey M. Henry is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in working with children, teens, and parents. She addresses a wide range of issues, including mood and anxiety concerns in children and teens, ADHD, adjustment to medical conditions, parenting challenges and postpartum mood & anxiety disorders.  

Dr. Henry takes a compassionate and comprehensive approach and understanding to support the health and well-being of her clients. She provides personalized, culturally appropriate, and trauma-informed care to meet the unique needs of each client and family. She utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) psychologist. 

Dr. Henry completed her Bachelor’s (B.A.) in Psychological Science at Miami University. She earned her Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where her graduate studies provided extensive training in the assessment and treatment of individuals across the lifespan. She was the recipient of numerous academic, leadership, and scholarly awards throughout her graduate studies. She completed her residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, focusing on trauma and community health in outpatient, primary care, and school settings. Additionally, Dr. Henry completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) in Columbus, Ohio, where she specialized in working with postpartum families, parent training, and pediatric feeding disorders. 

Dr. Henry’s wide-ranging experiences include consultation, school-based health and therapeutic services, psychoeducational assessment, health advocacy, professional organizational engagement and leadership. Her publications include understanding the factors that impact Autism and child development as well as how chronic childhood illness impacts siblings. Additionally, Dr. Henry has professionally presented numerous topics ranging from professional self-care and factors of attractiveness to treatment efficacy in Autism Spectrum Disorders and diversity considerations in clinical practice.

Dr. Henry’s numerous leadership roles have included NCH’s Diversity & Equity Committee, Miami University’s Social & Behavioral Sciences Advisory Council and active roles in the Ohio Psychological Association of Graduate Students. Dr. Henry received her Perinatal Mental Health Training Certificate (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International, who provide the standard in effective professional perinatal health treatment. Additionally, she is certified in Suicide Risk and Triage (CCRS), Crisis Intervention, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is an active member of Postpartum Support International, the Ohio Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association (Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology & Society of Pediatric Psychology).
